- Fuji Park
- Created with celebrated wisteria gathered from around the country, this beautiful park boasts the widest variety of wisteria in Japan with about 100 types. There are a variety of wisteria including those with corollas hanging down a full meter, those with smallish corollas like grapes, those with deep purple flowers and those with lovely pink and pure white colored flowers as well. The hanging corollas overlapping each other make the wisteria look like a hazy rain, their beauty drawing in those who view them.

- Former Shizutani School
- The Shizutani school was constructed during the Edo period, and served a school which educated the common people directly controlled by the former Okayama clan. Most of its structures are designated as important cultural properties of the nation, including its Confucian temple, its Shizutani Shinto shrine, and its auditorium, which is a national treasure. The trees and flowers show their different colors as the seasons change, pleasing all those who visit.

- Katatetsu Romance Road
- The now-abandoned Katakami railroad has been reborn as a cycling road.
Along the route you can find vestiges of the railroad days such as platforms, station buildings, and traffic signals.

- Okayama Prefecture Nature Conservation Center
- A prefectural nature park with an area of 100ha, this is the largest Japanese crane breeding facility, with over 41 of the cranes, which are a protected species, inside.
There are about 2,500 confirmed types of plants and animals inside the center, which features the most spacious artificial wetlands in Japan and offers the opportunity to view rare species up close including the beautiful pogonia and fringed orchid flowers as well as the smallest domestic scarlet dwarf and more.
